“SUCCESS IS A JOURNEY, NOT a destination;”and no one is born successful! Some people may be fortunate enough to be born into wealthy families; however, no one is born successful. Success is a title or right that must be earned. Success is a science -and an art- and one that can be achieved by anyone who is willing to take the time to learn how to get it. If you truly desire to be successful, you must possess the key that unlocks the door: and that is DESIRE. Your dream can start with whatever is in your heart today because big things always begin small; and it all starts with desire and following a specific plan.
Have you ever seen a tall building being built? If so, you know that for the first several weeks or months, very little appear to be happening, at least above ground. That’s because the initial work is focused on building a solid foundation, underground. The higher the building is designed to be, the more solid the foundation needs to be to support all the levels or floors. Whether it’s building a tall structure, a dream home, or a dream life, when a person first decides to build from the ground up, s/he must do a few select things in a specific way. First, they must choose or make a choice to build. Next they must go about preparing for the project construction, and then finally selecting a specific blueprint or plan to follow before creating the structure. As such, the same is true for building a successful future and an abundant life – you must plan for what you desire. It’s about having a focus on a goal or a dream, and it demands that those stated goals become the foundation or the basis of everything that you do: the way that you think, the actions that you take, the people that you associate with and hang around, and the books that you read. You must be consistent and persistent about completing that project or achieving that dream.
Reaching abundant success is in fact about letting go of the past, creating a vision or dream for your future, developing yourself for the present, and taking steps everyday towards reaching your destination via stated goals. In order to become successful and create an abundant life, you will need to analyze the way you think and the way in which you react to events as they unfold. If you truly desire success and abundance, you will need to get attuned to the right energy vibration by following a specific prescription or “blueprint” for success. A blueprint is a detailed plan of action - (a model or prototype) that influences a subsequent design or action to be carried out by a series of steps. These models are then turned into specific goals and are made to be the foundation for successful building. Plans are used to show someone a precise process to do something or to explain an exact method to make something happen. Without a blueprint, the desired outcome will never be a success.
The Purpose for Having Blueprints and Plans
The purpose for having a plan is to help us to live according to our life purpose. Organizations and businesses need planning, and so does individuals. Strategic planning is an organization’s process of defining its strategy, direction, and mission. And a business plan is a result of strategic planning. It’s a document that spells out a company’s expected course of action for a specified period of time. It usually includes a detailed listing and analysis of risks and uncertainties of exactly HOW a business owner or entrepreneur intends to organize an entrepreneurial endeavor taking into consideration all of the possible pitfalls. The purpose for following a blueprint is to direct the process down the road or journey to success.
Personal success blueprints serve to provide information on approaches to planning and help you to live with purpose. As such, you will find that pursing abundant success involves discovering and designing a purpose for yourself. Defining your purpose is about deciding what you want for your life, rather than allowing your parents, spouse, and society determine for you what you will do for the rest of your life. Anyone who is NOT working towards their life’s purpose or the fulfillment of their dreams on a consistent basis –by following a designed blueprint - is in fact robbing themselves and the world of the talents they have to give.
If you really want to attract peace and harmony to your life and want to experience a high level of success, you must first confront your own CONDITIONING learned from your upbringing. This includes the self-limiting beliefs and wrong programming that you are probably still holding on to from your past. From there, you will need to “reprogram” or retrain your mind from the past conditioning to what you actually want to happen. In order to accomplish this, you will need to follow a specific plan or method. To start the change process, you will need to open up your mind and your heart to a transformation of self, because true abundance requires an innovative and holistic approach to life. You have to let go of the past in order to step into a new future.
Abundant success means living up to what you truly believe yourself to be capable of becoming
Dr. Norman Vincent Peele, who was one of the most influential clergymen of his time and the author of the book “The Power of Positive Thinking” written back in 1952, defined positive thinking as “a form of thought that involves looking for the best result from the worst condition.” Abundant success occurs when opportunity meets preparation; therefore, you have to learn something and then apply it to your life. When you follow a prescribed process and develop a plan of action, you can make success happen! But believe it or not, research shows that only one out of 20 people actually plan for their success; and the rest are still struggling. Daniel Boone was quoted as saying, “Having an exciting destination is like setting a needle in your compass. From then on, the compass knows only one point—its ideal. And it will faithfully guide you there through the darkest nights and fiercest storms.”
Goals and dreams are the guiding forces for our lives. If you want the nice home(s), the exotic vacations, the cars, and businesses you must first develop the foundation for which to build upon to acquire those dreams. In order to bring those stated dreams to manifestation you must design a “plan” for your life instead of shooting for a series of random targets and goals. Moreover, you must find or pursue something that fulfills you. You will need to sit down in front of a blank piece of paper and start to think of times in your life when you were the happiest and felt most fulfilled. What were you doing? Write that down. Well, that’s the thing that you need to be pursuing because that should be an indication of what your purpose in life is!
